About
Hi! Marcela (she/her) is a multidisciplinary Designer based in NYC. Marcela has experience in graphic, visual and environmental design at design studios and in-house institutions. She specializes in creative campaigns, branding, cross-functional teamwork.
In New York, Marcela worked as a Visual Designer at Verbal + Visual web agency and as a Graphic and Visual Designer at Kiss Me I’m Polish. She completed the Intensive TypeParis 2023 Type Design course in Paris, where she designed a custom typeface for feminist posters. She is currently working at the Communication and Marketing Department at Pratt Institute, developing full identity systems for the annual events, exhibitions and more.
Brazilian, born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Marcela has a BFA degree in Graphic Design. While she was still in college, Marcela won her first prize award among young designers (aged 40 and below) at the Macef Design Awards in Italy.
